The Care for Creation Committee works to:
-
respond collectively to God’s call to care for creation (per Catholic Social Teaching);
-
research, propose, and help implement ways for Resurrection to operate more sustainably and reduce the parish’s carbon footprint; and
-
educate the parish community and encourage all to be good stewards of the earth.
Our commitment to leading environmental stewardship efforts
at Resurrection and reducing the Parish’s carbon footprint
is formally laid out in our
Environmental Stewardship Resolution,
which was approved by the Parish Council in November 2024.
Meetings
We meet on the first and third Sundays of the month in the Day Chapel after the 10:30 a.m. Mass.
