The Father Spalding Society

The Father Spalding Society is a special opportunity for larger gifts. Gifts are invested with our parish endowments and used for the future needs of the parish and its outreach.

“Through the work of God’s hand we laid the cornerstone of our parish in 1963, building a faith foundation on which to worship, pray and serve God and others. The future of our faith community requires both financial and human resources to sustain and grow the ministry of Catholic education, outreach programs, our facility and technology needs.” – Mission Statement for The Father William J. Spalding Society

The Endowment Board of Directors is a ministry of the finance council. The endowment board tracks, reviews and updates our three parish endowments. The endowments at Resurrection have been established as supplemental funds for the parish with a focus on the financial and spiritual future of our community. The Father William J. Spalding Society is a specific outreach of this board to parish members looking for an avenue of planned giving.

Resurrection Parish Endowment

The Resurrection Parish Endowment supports tuition assistance for students at Resurrection School and those participating in our parish faith formation program. It also provides financial support to our school and athletic programs. Staff and faculty development are partially funded by this endowment as well as continued work in life-long faith formation and stewardship within the entire parish.

Parish Outreach Endowment

The Parish Outreach Endowment supports the Resurrection faith community in its mission to continue in the footsteps of our Lord as ministers to those in need. It provides funding of outreach services in support of human concerns programs.

Facilities and technology endowment

The Facilities and Technology Endowment ensures that our facilities remain a strong and vital environment in which to practice and build our faith. This endowment currently consists of four separate funds:

  • General support of the operational and capital needs of the parish
  • Technology needs of the parish
  • Ongoing upkeep of our memorial gardens
  • Upkeep of our wonderful facility
