“All Are Welcome In This Place”
Any child, youth or adult that has not received First Communion, and/or is from a different faith tradition, is welcomed and encouraged to walk in the procession line during Communion time. When the person gets to the front of the line, they simply cross their arms over their chest/heart as a sign that they will not be receiving Communion but would like a blessing. The Presider, Deacon or Eucharistic Minister that is distributing will then bless that person with the Sign of the Cross, or put a hand on their head or shoulder and say, “God bless you.” This practice was implemented at Resurrection in January, 1998.
| Winter Mass Schedule | Summer Mass Schedule |
| Saturday 4:00 PM (Reconciliation 3:15 PM) | Saturday 4:00 PM (Reconciliation 3:15 PM) |

The Comittee looks at how the Eucharistic Liturgy (Mass) flows; how to foster a welcoming atmosphere through full, conscious and active participation at Mass; offers other prayer opportunities such as Evening Prayer, and works toward a meaningful worship environment that leads to active service of others in the name of Jesus. “Liturgy must lead to justice.”
Members of the Worship Committee welcome all who are interested in prayer, worship and spiritual life of the parish to join us.

Liturgy Planning is a sub-committee of the Worship Committee. This group prays and reads the scriptures for each Sunday of the particular season, looks for ways to enhance the liturgical seasons of Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter. Meets approximately 2 times well in advance of the season for two hours each time.
The Art & Environment sub-committee plans the seasonal decorations for the church, the greeting area and entrances of the church, both inside and out; figures out the supplies needed, and then does the actual decorating immediately prior to the feast day. Meets approximately two times prior to all liturgical seasons to plan; decorating times are varied, but usually a few days before the Advent season, Christmas, Season of Lent and four times during Holy Week.

Armed Forces Prayer Book
Our Armed Forces Prayer Book is now located in the greeting area at the front entrance of church. If you have a member of your family, or extended family, that is serving in the Armed Forces, you are invited to bring a picture of that person and put it in the prayer book, or to simply write in their name. Our parish is praying in a special way for them.
