Each year since 1990, on or near the first day of winter and the longest night of the year, the National Coalition for the Homeless (NCH) has sponsored National Homeless Persons' Memorial Day to bring attention to the tragedy of homelessness, the lack of affordable housing, and to remember our friends without stable housing who have paid the ultimate price for our nation's failure to address this crisis. This event is open to the public; all are invited to participate in solidarity with those who believe health care, housing, and physical safety are basic human rights, not benefits to be earned.

Ecumenical Partnership for Housing: Break the Labels

In 2016 EPH Served:

41 transitional housing families.

8 long-term supportive housing families

For a total of 539 families over their 25 year history.

Recently we posted a video to our Facebook page about a homeless café project in Madrid, Spain and it received a lot of views and response, but it's important for us to remember that there are homeless in need right HERE in Green Bay.

Resurrection is a member church supporting Ecumenical Partnership for Housing. We support EPH financially and with our members' service to the houses in Green Bay. They have recently launched a campaign outlining their outreach and their needs. Below is the video they put together highlighting some of the people they serve and the needs in our own community.

We are the hands and feet of Jesus. We are in disciples. We are called to walk on the journey with Jesus, especially in Lent.
