St. Vincent de Paul Green Bay, Friends of the Poor Walk

Mon., Sept. 3 (Labor Day)

The Walk for the Poor is a part of a national St. Vincent de Paul event to help people living in poverty. The walk is held near September 27, the feast day of the charity organization’s patron, St. Vincent de Paul, who ministered the poor in Paris in the 17th century. In the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul himself, SVdPGB offers tangible and in-kind services to those in need in the Green Bay community.

2.5-mile walk from West Thrift Store, 940 Hansen Rd. to Hinterland Brewery

·       Packet pickup -- 8 to 10 a.m. at the West Thrift Store

·       Walk -- 10 -11 a.m.

·       Celebration -- 11 a.m. to noon at Hinterland Brewery

This walk is dog friendly. At the Green Bay walk there will be water, snacks, and a commemorative t-shirt in addition to fun, friends, and family! All monies (and awareness) raised help those in need in the Green Bay community.
