An Ode of an Angry Weasel

I’m a weasel and I’m ticked off.

Those humans, creatures who use

convoluted, pompous, perplexing language,

speak of weasel words –

            “in most respects”

            “somewhat”

            “often”

            “maybe”

            “it is said”

I, and my other weasel friends,

find this degrading, denigrating, disrespectful

and downright mean.

I write to refute these sheepish, foxy humans

who claim they deserve dignity and respect

just because they are at the top of the food chain.

Baloney!  How’s that for a non-weasel word.
