Resurrection Parish participates in a
no cost (to you), revenue-producing program called SCRIP.
The Scrip progam is, basically, the purchase of negotiable
grocery, department or specialty store gift certificates.
The parish buys them at a discount from a local and national
clearing house. We receive income because The National Scrip
Center (and our local Green Bay area Scrip Program) have negotiated
discounts directly from the participating stores. Scrip is
a great, easy way to generate income for the parish AT
NO ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU. Orders are sent in every
Monday.
How does Scrip work?
Order gift certificates in the denomination
and amount that you need. These certificates are then used
as cash at the participating retail establishments. You can
also pay some charge accounts using Scrip certificates. It's
just that simple. You need to try it once to see how easy
the program is to use.
Where and when can I purchase Scrip?
It is best to plan ahead and send an
order form to the Parish Office by 9:00 AM, Monday. You may
order scrip by phone, by fax (336-1949) or in person at the
Parish Office or after Mass at the Scrip table in the Gathering
Area. The certificates will be available Thursday and can
be picked up in the Parish Office or after Mass on Sunday.
In some cases, delivery of you certificates can be arranged.
