Sacrificial Giving

Resurrection has been involved in Sacrificial Giving for many years. Simply defined, it is the planned, personal response of Church members through the giving of time, talent, and treasure. This response to Christ, the Good Shepherd, should be "of the essence" of our faith, not giving of what is "left over." We invite you to become an active participant in the parish's Sacrificial Giving program. Review your personal or family financial situation. then pray, discuss, and decide on the percentage of your income which should go to charity and, in particular, to Resurrection Parish.

True tithing is 10% of your income. The Church encourages Catholics to achieve this level of support as follows: 5% of income to the Church and 5% to other charities.

Electronic Funds Transfer

Resurrection Parish offers an alternative payment method to our present envelope system, which benefits both you and our parish. An electronic funds transfer of your contribution can be made with a pre-determined automatic payment each month. Highlights of this parishioner contribution plan are:

  • A payment transfer from your checking account to Resurrection will occur automatically once each month on the date you specify.
  • You specify the dollar amount to be paid from your checking account at your bank and transferred to Resurrection's account.
  • The authorization agreement for the transfer each month will remain in effect until you change it.
  • Resurrection and our bank will assess no charge or fee to you. (There may be a charge, as with any other check, per your agreement with your bank.)

If you are interested in Electronic Funds Transfer, please contact Debbie
Le Sage at dlesage@gbres.org.

Credit Card
