Elizabeth Ministry

Elizabeth Ministry in not a single ministry, but rather a cluster of ministries that work to offer support, guidance, and encouragement of women through their childbearing years.

Part of the mission of Elizabeth Ministry is to help mothers see the sacred moments in the ordinary and everyday events of motherhood. To this end, we also want to strengthen and build our relationships here at Resurrection so that we mothers can continue to be encouraged and supported well after each baby is born.

If you have other children, know that Elizabeth Ministry is not simply for first time mothers!  Indeed, as you know, mentoring and friendships with other mothers is vital to how you parent as well! Creating a stronger community within Resurrection Parish will help not only those who are new to the parenting game, but will give us all an outlet and opportunity to connect with other women who share our Catholic faith. We as mothers or mothers-to-be naturally look at other women who are in similar stages of life. Elizabeth Ministry creates yet another opportunity to foster those faith filled relationships that will encourage us in our walk of life.
