Reflections on 2010 Mission Trip to Okolona, Mississippi
“I only hope that my presence has created some sort of positive impact on these children’s lives, even of the smallest proportions…Thank you Resurrection for giving me the opportunity to strengthen my faith and soul. God bless all those in need.”

“I think it is safe to say that those kids changed my outlook on life and Iwill never forget everyone of them. God touched me this week in a way he never has and without him I could not have done it. I will continue to pray for the kids of Okolona and their dreams.”

Reflections on 2010 Mission Trip to Buffalo, New York
“…The fulfillment of putting others before yourself and giving up of yourself for them is incredible! Through that advice, and our prayer services at night, my perspective of God changed. I originally thought of him as someone to go to when I needed support and love. That is true-Jesus is a supporter! However, He’s not here for us. We’re here for HIM. He put us on this Earth for a reason and our lives are not about getting through with His help. Our lives are about doing His will, and letting Him into our hearts. If we live like that, then no matter how poor we are or how little we have, we’ll be the happiest people because riches don’t come in the form of money…”

“…And even though they can’t hear me, I would like to thank each and every one of the kids I met for showing me the light I didn’t see before…This week will never end for me for I have seen God this week and feel the need to serve not just outside the community, but in Green Bay. Small things in this world can make a difference, like smiling at a child. You wouldn’t think much of it, but it could make their day. Thank you all for supporting us for even though it is a small task, you helped us see God through other people.”
