Marty Haugen’s Musical
The Song of Mark

The Song of Mark is a musical adaptation of the Gospel of Mark narrated by three women followers of Jesus. Peter, James and John represent the twelve disciples in the production and bring a touch of humor to a very important story. This beautiful story delivers a wonderful message expressed through song.

Directed by April Deming, Musical Director- Michele Becker, Children’s Choir Director - Sharon Pfluger
Lyle Becker will play the role of Jesus, with Carrie Liebhauser, Melissa Pfluger, and Tammy Basten as the women disciples; and Josh Raymond, Michael Frohna, and Paul Defnet as Peter, John and James; and Jason Pues will play John the Baptist. The remainder of the nearly 80 cast and choir and band members are children and adults of Resurrection Catholic Parish and other local churches.

The Song of Mark food collection during the 3 performances brought forth 16 full barrels of food that was donated to Paul's Pantry! Thank you for helping Jesus' parable of the loaves and fishes
be life-giving for today.
